  • "is it a single layer of paper/card as shown in the picture where it is folded into shape? I had expected something put together more like papier mache, the lines where the paper joins at cut edges are a bit vulnerable aren't they? I suppose it needs to be like that to get such definition in the finished item. "

  • "really don't like binders. they take up a lot of space when empty (although those de-mountable ones are pretty cool). the punched holes get enlarged and ripped on the binder rings so when you eventally digitise them the pages snarl together and get stuck in the scanner, it is not fun. the trianglar footprint of  a binder that isn't full is really annoying too. and the way you have to slowly paw through them, and turn pages with both hands to stop them sticking on the rings. manila folders are best."

  • "I like this. in the UK I have not seen these crates around much. anyone know what they are called or where to find them? are they expensive if you have to buy them? I have been intending to do something similar with the shallow cardboard crates you get in supermarkets here, but the modular system with different sizes is a big advantage. I would have to build shelves to do this, the cardboard wouldn't slide out nicely like that on rails. "
